Jane Carter is the owner of Ethnicare Hair Spa and inventor of the Jane Carter custom product line. Jane's first vision was to create a salon that supported cultural diversity and catered to all people. Ethnicare grew successfully for thirteen years a s a culturally balanced salon. In 1995 the salon moved to Plainfield, New Jersey.
Jane was a National Style Team Member and Educator for Clairol, specializing in hair color for "culturally diverse" salons. In September of 1994, Jane was invited by Bristol Myers to participate as an educator for LOGICS UNIVERSITY, where she taught, "How to successfully create a multicultural environment in your salon.
Dealing with all hair types of hair textures has allowed Jane to create a "custom solution" for client's hair-care needs. A wealth of research has been incorporated into the "custom" philosophy, consequently introducing the "TREATMENT BAR". The "TREATMENT BAR" provides Ethnicare's clients with an opportunity to customize their products and services.
