| Half of 2012 has almost passed – two quarters, two season, 6 months…have you taken any time to
“revive” your hair this Spring bring Summer rolls in? I know, I know….there was a lot on your To-Do List for the beginning of the year but now is the time to embrace the spirit of Spring and give your hair a little tlc!
Small steps can produce huge results, start with these:
1. Sleep in silk.
You hair constantly rubs against the fabric of your pillowcase throughout the night, drying out your tresses and ultimately causing some form of breakage.
The solution? Cover your pillows in silk!
2. Toss old products.
Are you a product hoarder? Are you attempting to use products that have way passed their expiration date? If you answered yes, we have a problem on our hands!
The solution? Toss old, unused, rancid smelling items and replace with nourishing, hydrating, all natural products!
3. Massage your scalp and edges.
Stimulation is key! Improved circulation can revive your hair in ways that you couldn’t imagine.
The solution? Just 5 minutes a day of massaging your scalp and/or edges can not only reduce stress but promote hair growth.
4. Clean your brushes and combs.
Brushes and combs are usually neglected, rarely if ever being washed. This leads to a breeding ground for bacteria!
The solution? Soak them in a baking soda, vinegar and hot water mix to sanitize and kill germs that could cause scalp issue.
